Poor orange birdy had a bad night.
Rufus was rather concerned for his well-being.
Stella, don't hurt him! He's my fave!
Um, I think I better hang on to him for you. You know, just in case.
Stellers tried to make a break for it down the hall, but Rufus wasn't having any of it. Check out his rebound off the wall.
IF YOU COME ANY CLOSER TO ORANGE BIRDY I WILL EAT YOUR HEAD
Stella has no shame.
And then our street turned into a sewer. Oh, the joys of living in the country. Not.
All of this will basically end up in our basement in the next few hours, and let's just say, it's not JUST rain water.
Hey, mom, my dream came true! A giant doggie swimming pool in MY OWN FRONT YARD!
Um, Rufus, try no.

Ohhh! I hope you are all managing to stay dry!!!
OMG! Ya gotta know my heart goes out to you and "the water". I am just so sorry you have to deal with this - and to see it coming, UGH!
I send you dry and sanitized hugs from a fellow "univited water" hater.
Hi Rufus and Stella! Your photos are adorable! Your new swimming pool is cool!
You are so right about the no dog fighting! And it's so weird that you had a flood experience Friday- Chad's (i.e.- spud, kado, and shadow's) yard turned into a river Friday night. I tried to take pics but it was dark and didnt turn out good :( The pups were really confused..they just kind of stared. haha :) Cute pics anyway and I hope your basement is ok!!!
Hi Nala! Just dropping by to tell you that it's my pleasure to give you an award!
Kisses from Rufus and Indie
Sorry Stella and Rufus! I wrote Nala. Sorry, sorry!
Hey Anita
Thanks for the award! Stella and Rufus will answer to anything so long as treats (or awards) are involved. :)
Wow, that's a lot of water!
Mom wouldn't have to worry about me bolting after a bunny, if that was in our front yard! There's nothing worse than being wet!
